Linnea Henriksson has, over the years, become one of Sweden’s most beloved modern artists.
Linnea Henriksson returns with a new album – a romantic comedy about the largely unsung relationship that takes place in the middle of life.
She has always been a storyteller in her songwriting, and few possess the stage presence she does. She is a renowned live performer who, quite honestly, can make any stage her own. She embraces both the grand and bombastic as well as the smallest and most intimate moments, and has headlined festivals and city events while also collaborating with some of the country’s finest orchestras and big bands.
With her sharp intuition and honesty, she puts into words what many of us struggle to express ourselves. Audiences can expect yet another emotional rollercoaster, as great love is questioned and affirmed from the stage.
“I’m really longing to see my audience. When I’m struggling to finish an album, the thought of a new tour is what gives me the strength to complete it. It’s my closure – it’s when I can truly hand over the songs and move on. The album is about a mid‑life relationship, and with each album it means more and more that there is an audience who trusts me to soundtrack their lives for a little while. I’m so excited to see which songs will become important to the people who are so important to me,” says Linnea.
During her more than 15 years as an artist, Linnea Henriksson has become one of Sweden’s most cherished contemporary performers. Constantly in the spotlight and with over 300 million streams, she has become a natural part of Swedish entertainment. This winter, she will appear as one of the competing choir leaders when the audience favourite “Körslaget – Together Against Cancer” returns to television, and on 9 January her long‑awaited album “Du & jag & mera tid” (“You & Me & More Time”) will be released.
